It is important to recognize that children learn in different ways and they are supported at St. Mary School. St. Mary's teachers work to respond to the needs of each child while maintaining academic and evaluative standards.
Teachers work to differentiate instruction in order to accommodate a variety of learning styles.
A counselor, provided by Catholic Charities, is available for all students.
Benchmark Testing is completed three times per year to determine both Individual and Instructional Reading Levels in grades K-5.
Students needing additional support in Reading meet with our Reading Specialist.
